The role of UV coating

UV coating is a transparent coating, also known as UV varnish. Its function is that after spraying or rolling on the surface of the substrate, after being irradiated by a UV lamp, it is transformed from a liquid state to a solid state, and then the surface is hardened, which is scratch-resistant and scratch-resistant, and the surface looks bright, beautiful and round in texture.UV coating has the characteristics of good environmental protection, chemical resistance, physical damage resistance, high hardness and fast drying. In fact, it plays the role of protecting the primer and decoration. Generally, the coating surface of the primer and middle coat is too soft and easy to scratch, and the UV coating surface is hard and scratch-resistant. UV can also be set to different gloss levels to enhance the texture and added value of the coated object.However, in the process of spraying UV on nylon, PP and other plastics and metal surfaces, the problem of poor coating adhesion is often caused by the substrate. Adhesion promoters can be applied to improve the intercoat adhesion between the substrate and the coating to solve the problem of coating peeling.
